On Tuesday, March 26th at 4PM, Southwest Fire Defense came out to VFW Post 8874 to do a little tree trimming of dead wood, and to help rehang our flag pole halyard. The halyard had been broken since last fall, November time period, and hanging a new halyard on a 50 foot tall flag pole was a challenge. Southwest Fire Defense easily surmounted the challenge with their bucket truck and highly trained and skilled professionals. We appreciate their support!
